Members of a popular online forum are outraged after a mother revealed how her sister’s wedding ended with a vitriolic husband and accusations of neglect.

Continuing to explain that her sister got married last weekend, the original poster said the ceremony was hours away, and that her husband made it clear he wouldn’t be there from the start.
The original poster also said that despite her husband’s refusal to attend and her sister’s disdain, she still planned to go and bought a plane ticket for the weekend from the wedding.
Unfortunately, this plane ticket was never used.
“When we first got the invitation, he told me he wasn’t going, that he was going to stay for the kids and suggested I do the same,” OB wrote. “I insisted on going because this is my only sister.

“Your relationship is not healthy,” they added. “He is manipulative and controlling.”
“It controls you and isolates you from the family,” the Redditor u/Vequihellin echoed, garnering more than 3,000 upvotes. “You already owe him a name [breadwinner] And canceled a plane ticket to force you to stay away from your family… you need to [get the f**k out] from there.”
